The VLTOR 308 Charging Handle is the same exact charging handle design you’ve known and loved since 2009 as the BCM GUNFIGHTER charging handle, simply re-released under the VLTOR name. The VLTOR Charging Handle’s patented design redirects the force off of the latch’s roll pin and into the body of the charging handle, which is especially crucial during support hand only manipulations. This design makes the charging handle stronger and less prone to roll pin or latch breakage. The VLTOR Charging Handle design has proven itself over the last decade, both domestically and abroad. The body of the charging handle is made from high-strength forged 7075 T6 aluminum with an extruded latching handle with Mil-Spec Type III Class 2 hardcoat anodizing.
