Description
The Trijicon Miniature Rifle Optic (MRO) HD is a reflex-style sight intended for use on rifles, carbines, and shotguns to provide fast target acquisition. Designed to be used with both eyes open, providing the operator with maximum situational awareness. The large aperture and tapered light path maximizes the viewing area in such a small optic, allowing for fast target engagement, even from non-standard shooting positions. Advanced lens coatings and electronics produce a crisp red dot. The brightness control dial on the MRO is specifically designed for ambidextrous usage. With a mid-adjustment “off” position, eight brightness settings and 2 night vision settings the brightness dial allows for quick and ergonomic adjustments. This model does not include a mount.
The MRO HD has been optimized for use with a magnifier and includes a re-engineered objective lens to produce a refined 2.0 MOA center dot surrounded by a 68 MOA segmented circle reticle. The ambidextrous reticle and brightness control allows the user to choose between a full reticle or center dot only reticle.
The Trijicon MRO HD Magnifier is a 3 power reflex optic magnifier specifically designed to magnify the target seen through the MRO HD red dot optic. By magnifying the target the shooter is able to use the crisp dot in the MRO HD to quickly and accurately engage targets at extended distances. The MRO HD Magnifier is short and compact to save weight and rail space. The design features easy-to-set flush, toolless adjusters that make centering the reticle in the field of view easy. The adjustable diopter allows the shooter to tune the optical performance to their eyes.
The 3x magnifier also includes a multi position, military-grade flip-to-side quick release mount which makes mounting and unmounting the optic from the weapon quick and easy. The mount is also designed to flip into place over the top of a back up iron sight commonly used on modern sporting rifles. Each magnifier includes a riser plate and additional fasteners to allow the optic to align with either 1/3rd or Full Co-Witness MRO HD mounts.
