The Magpul DAKA Soft Case SR44 is a lightweight, semi-rigid soft rifle case constructed from proprietary DAKA Grit material for flexible, weather-resistant transport of rifles, magazines, and gear – ideal as a range bag, hunting case, or travel companion that nests inside the DAKA Hard Case R44 for hybrid protection while prioritizing speed and minimal weight.

- DAKA Grit construction: 600D kiss-coat TPU facing and backing layers with RF-welded seams for durability, weather resistance, and dirt protection
- Full lay-flat design with two YKK Aquaguard zippers and reinforced 550 cord pulls
- MOLLE-style slotted base with five included reconfigurable DAKA Gear Straps to secure rifles, MOLLE pouches, or equipment
- Interior lid organization: Four stretch mesh pockets for up to eight PMAG 25 LR/SR GEN M3 magazines, plus a zippered mesh pocket for small items and a large document pocket for NFA paperwork or manuals
- External sling attachment plates: Two stowable points for QD swivels, Paraclips, MASH Hooks, or similar for shoulder carry
- RF-welded ID card slot on exterior and dot matrix grid for labeling
- Two built-in carry handles for easy transport
