Description
The Haley Strategic Flatpack 2.0 is built on the same frame as the original Flatpack and maintains its original compact size preferred by users, but now includes updated features previously only available on the FlatPack Plus. This design update adds a full peel open design and features a full field of velcro setting the necessary foundation to add FlatPack accessories when needed and allowing the end user to build the pack around their needs.
At its core, the new FlatPack 2.0 is still is an assault pack that can go from an almost flat profile when compressed to 600 cubic inches when completely expanded utilizing a unique expandable gusset system.
When the D3 FlatPack 2.0 is compressed it can run a 1-liter hydration bladder in the main compartment with additional small items like batteries, energy gels and chem lights stored in the dedicated admin chamber. When expanded, the main compartment can fit a fully loaded D3CRX chest rig, a helmet or a jacket while the admin can fit electronics and small binoculars. The Flatpack 2.0 can also safely transport electronics such as the iPad, MacBook (12″) or any laptop or tablet up to 8″ x 12″. The padded inner chamber can also hold a number of items ranging from books and periodicals to digital cameras.
The FlatPack 2.0 features a new chest strap to add stability and comfort while under load. It also integrates with the Haley Strategic D3CRX and D3CR-H chest rigs, replacing the H harness with the pack straps, creating a light reconnaissance, patrol rig.
