Brownells 40 to 1 Bullet Casting Alloy. Ingots weight roughly 5 pounds. This casting alloy is 40 parts Lead to 1 part Tin (97.5% Lead, 2.5% Tin). This gives a Brinell Hardness of appoximately 8.5. This softer alloy gives consistent expantion and excellent weight retention when used at black powder velocities. Made form virgin metals, not from scrap, ensuring you are adding clean alloy.
