Description
The Bravo Company Manufacturing (BCM) A/T Optic Riser 525-13X5 is a cantilever-style Picatinny rail riser designed to raise the centerline of your optic or magnifier by approximately 0.525 inches on AR-15 platforms and similar rifles. At roughly 7-1/4 inches long, it provides extended forward positioning similar to the 525-10X5 model but with three additional recoil slots for greater mounting flexibility. This configuration features 13 slots on the main body and 5 on the cantilever section (total of 18 slots / 19 lugs), allowing versatile placement of red dots, magnifiers, night vision, thermal devices, or other accessories over the handguard without bridging from the upper receiver. The extra height improves situational awareness and enables more comfortable, effective aiming when used with night vision devices or PPE, while the low-profile Angled Torque (A/T) mounting system delivers a secure, repeatable lockup with multiple integral recoil lugs for maximum zero retention under heavy recoil or suppressed fire.
